Our Thanks to the producer Josh, Dixon the Executive Producer, and all the crew,
production and post production staff, who did such an excellent job on the all new Cake Boss episode 430, Spirits and
Spumoni. High Noon Productions did an outstanding job and we are grateful to be associated with them! Our
episode first premiered on TLC, October 24, 2011 at 10pm, and since then has aired several times. The response
has been overwhelmingly positive and it seems people enjoyed watching a different side of Buddy. Considering they had
Regis Philbin and Danica Patrick in the shop just before us, it is very humbling to know that people are still talking about
"the ghost hunt" at the bakery! We were blessed to be a part of Buddy's family for a little while and he could
not have been nicer. Mary poked me when she was first introduced to us as the ghost guys, so later I poked her back,
and she told Buddy! He just laughed and said to her "hey you poked him first!" This is while we are
filming mind you.
We also want to thank Dave Juliano and his great staff at the Ghost Hunter Store, for being too busy to be on
tv and sending them our way! But we cannot forget Dave Jones and everyone at Para-X Networks, for giving us such a great
place to share our passion with positive people who are interested in the paranormal. SInce our interview on the radio
show SPIRITED HISTORY WITH LEEANNE AND ANGELA, we have been blessed with many new friends and owe alot of our success to our
fans and supporters!
THE LACKAWANNA RAILROAD TERMINUS AT HOBOKEN NEW JERSEY. HERE IS WHERE TROOPS
DURING WORLD WAR 1 WOULD GET OFF TRAINS AND BOARD SHIPS HEADED FOR EUROPE. GENERAL PERSHING COINED THE PHRASE "HEAVEN,
HELL OR HOBOKEN BY CHRISTMAS", HOPING FOR A SPEEDY END AND THEIR RETURN HOME TO THE PIERS AT HOBOKEN. MY HOMETOWN
OF SCRANTON, LIES AT THE OTHER END OF THIS RAILROAD LINE AND IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST BUILD TO HAUL COAL FROM THE ANTRHACITE
MINES IN NORTHEASTERN PA TO HOBOKEN AND ACROSS THE RIVER THE WEALTHY PEOPLE LIVING IN NEW YORK!
BELOW YOU CAN SEE THE SKYLINE OF NEW YORK, LOWER MANHATTEN. THAT IS FREEDOM TOWER RISING ON THE TRADE CENTER
GROUNDS, AN AWESOME SITE. THIS SPOT IS VERY NEAR WHERE CAPTAIN SULLY SULLENBERGER LANDED THE PASSENGER JET ON THE HUDSON
RIVER AND SAVE EVRERYONE ON BOARD.

Just down the road from here
is the Lackawanna Complex, the new expansion site for Carlo's Bakery, where large orders can be filled, was once a train depot
and warehouse dating back to the early 1900's, and Buddy had told us that when the inspectors came thru the new building,
they said that the building was haunted. So while we were waiting for our time to film our segment, Doug and I were
given run of an empty area of the warehouse, and we immediately went to work taking EMF readings and doing EVP sessions and
to our amazement, we found someone right away, within an hour or so, and got some evps, one of which is the classic
"GET OUT!". Which only makes me laugh now. So when Doug's battery went on his EVP recorder, he
went back outside to get another and while he did, I was left alone in a haunted location...sweet!
I found a door
that was open which was to a bathroom, so I went in and kept the light off. Now I did not have my night vision camera,
just an evp recorder but I knew that they would respond more if I kept the light off, so I did. Standing
there in the dark, my eyes started to adjust, and I started asking if anyone was there, and did they need help, well it wasn't
long before i got answers! And all the time, I could hear something in a stall a few feet away. I asked more questions
and told them the noises wont scare me away, so they could save time and not do them, and it got so quiet! I had to
laugh to myself! I then said I would come back with other people and that if they needed help to come talk to us.
I was hedging my bet so we would have actual stuff for the shoot! We we did, but it wasn't the guy in the bathroom who
made themselves known to us, but we were near the bathroom when we got the EVPS. However, I knew it was a good chance
that Buddy's Dad might be attached to him and watching over his bakery, as it was his life! So when we got such
a great hit on his MEL meter(EMF), and it was constant, it gave me the impression whoever it was, was standing next to Buddy
and his sister, and that usually is a relative. So I asked who it was and we got a response, but we asked several more
questions, including stuff that only he would know, and his answers were spot on everytime, it was only then that i say, "OK,
that's your father,". What happened next is amazing and wonderful, as they got to speak to their father and
everyone had tears in their eyes, not just Mary! It was very humbling to be a part of and we are glad we helped out
such an amazing guy and a great family as the Valastro's.

Since the show aired, I sent Doug back to bring them the evidence pakage and when
he got there, he was greeted by crowds of fans. It seems a lot of people had watched and the numbers were very good,
so Josh was very happy to see Doug! He told Doug that since the episode aired, everyone who comes into the bakery is
asking about the ghost hunt!!! Even the staff of the bakery are still talking about it, so when Doug tried to go out
into the bakery from the kitchen, he was swarmed!
During the filming,
I had enough evidence already to think that whoever the spirit was, it could vey well be his Dad, as he had bought
the business in 1964 and it was his life! Sure enough we start getting evps, and I asked Mary, to ask
him something only he would know. She asked about how he used to wake them up, and the answer was on the back, which
was what Mary later told us! But when Mary said I Love YOu and we got a clear I Love YOu back, well you
can see Buddy's eyes and he is a little freaked out!
Watch Cake Boss every Monday night at 10 pm only on TLC, and don't miss Next Great Baker,
where Buddy tests to see who will join his team of bakers, and only one will bake it to the top!
